Tornadoes

 

I took these photos on (what seemed like) the brink of a tornado. In the end it turned out to just be a small rain shower, but still! That's dedication. And this lovely skirt will be added to the shop tomorrow.

Also I'd just like to add, it's 9am and I've already been to the gym, showered, and am currently having my morning coffee. Take that, Thursday!

Bullets and Jewels

Today, I finally ordered my first piece of jewelry from JewelMint. In case you don't already know, let me be the one to inform you. Fashion goddess (yes, I said goddess) Kate Bosworth and her stylist buddy Cher Coulter started this wonderful jewelry line. Basically, it's amazing, and at only $30 a piece, also affordable. All you have to do is register and create your style profile, and it automatically picks out favorite pieces for you based on your profile. And I must say, the picks are pretty on point. Anyway, without further ado, meet my new necklace courtesy of Kate and Cher...

Sheer Happiness

This season, I'm all about anything and everything being sheer. Showing a little skin while still being (somewhat) tasteful...this is my version of scantily clad. My boyfriend has made it known a number of times when we're out in public that he can see my bra. My response? "Duh".

Last weekend was mine and my boy's four year anniversary! We had planned on having a nice little weekend getaway, but unfortunately, his place of employment is THE worst and wouldn't give him the days off. So, we settled on a low key night at Old Town followed by dinner and a milkshake (two straws) at a diner. Oh, and my anniversary gift? Well, he's flying one of my very best friends that I haven't seen in over a year, Karms, down to me during my birthday next month! He definitely wins the award for boyfriend of the year. Four years down, and infinity more to go.
